In Their Own Words
Somchai Pattanasak
Bangkok · Personal Inventory
"My father passed away last year and we spent weeks trying to locate documents we weren't sure even existed. I hired Legacta to help me organize my own records so my family would never be in the same position. Nattapong was thorough and genuinely unhurried — we worked through everything across three sessions. The filing system they set up is still exactly as we left it."

Linda Cheung
Expat resident, Bangkok · Learning Series
"I have assets in two countries and was completely unclear on how Thai inheritance processes interact with what I have at home in Hong Kong. The Learning Series didn't solve that — it was always clear it wouldn't — but it gave me a much better sense of what questions to ask the lawyers I subsequently consulted. That alone was worth the fee."

"I was a little uncertain at first because I live outside Bangkok and had to do everything via video call. It worked fine — probably better than I expected, honestly. The only thing I would say is that the gap identification part took a little longer because we had to photograph documents rather than handling them directly. That felt reasonable given the circumstances."

"I did the Legacy and Memory Workshop over six sessions spanning two months. Aranya's approach is genuinely thoughtful — she doesn't push you toward any particular story or structure. The keepsake we produced at the end is something I'm genuinely glad exists. I gave copies to each of my children. That is all I wanted."

Bangkok · Learning Series + Inventory
"I did both the learning series and the inventory service, about six weeks apart. The series helped me understand what I actually needed to organize, so by the time I started the inventory work I had a clearer idea of what we were doing and why. Preeyaporn suggested this sequence and it was good advice."

Bangkok · Legacy Workshop
"My mother started but couldn't complete the workshop when she became unwell. Legacta paused everything without any issue and we picked it back up when she felt ready — about five weeks later. She finished the keepsake eventually and I think those sessions were important to her. I'm grateful they were flexible about it."

How It Worked in Practice
Client Journeys
Case Study 01 · Personal Inventory Service
A Bangkok family preparing for an elderly parent's future needs
The Situation
An adult son was assisting his mother, who at 78 was beginning to think about putting her affairs in order. Documents were in several locations — some at home, some with a sibling, some in a bank safety deposit box — and the family had no clear picture of what existed.
What Legacta Did
Three working sessions over six weeks. Documents were reviewed, categorized, and arranged into the ArchiveReady system. A gap summary identified three categories of document that needed to be located or replaced. The completed inventory was handed over with a clear reference guide for other family members.
The Outcome
The family now has a single, organized reference point for all key documents. Two of the three gaps were resolved within two months. The third required a legal professional to address — Legacta provided a referral and the matter was handled separately.
"It was the practical thing my mother needed and I hadn't been able to give her on my own."
— Son of client, Bangkok, May 2025
Case Study 02 · Legacy & Memory Workshop
A retired professional wanting to leave something lasting for her grandchildren
The Situation
A 71-year-old woman, retired from a career in education, wanted to write down stories from her life but felt uncertain about where to start. She had made several attempts on her own without finding a form that felt right. She was concerned the result would sound impersonal.
What Legacta Did
Five workshop sessions over eight weeks. The facilitator used the Keepsake Framework prompts to help the participant identify the stories she most wanted to tell, then supported the writing process without directing it. The final keepsake was designed and printed in a format she could give to each of her three grandchildren.
The Outcome
A forty-page illustrated memory keepsake, personal in tone and complete in a way she described as feeling right. She subsequently commissioned a second copy for her daughter, which was produced without additional session costs as it was a reprint of the existing material.
"I didn't expect to find the sessions themselves so useful. I went in thinking it was about the document. It turned out to be more than that."
— Workshop participant, Bangkok, June 2025
Case Study 03 · Learning Series
An expatriate couple with assets in multiple countries seeking orientation
The Situation
A British couple, resident in Bangkok for eleven years, had property in the UK and Thailand and had never taken any steps to understand how their estate would be handled. They found legal consultations difficult to navigate because they lacked basic orientation.
What Legacta Did
The Learning Series was completed over four weeks, supplemented by a Q&A session where the couple could ask specific questions. Legacta was clear about the limits of what the series could address — particularly regarding cross-border matters — and provided a referral to a Thai lawyer with relevant international experience.
The Outcome
The couple proceeded to formal legal consultation equipped with a clear vocabulary and a list of specific questions they wanted addressed. They described the experience of those subsequent meetings as significantly more productive than earlier attempts had been.
"We finally understood what we were actually asking the lawyers. That made the whole process faster."
